  This is a long review but I would say worth the read if you’re after a new vet. Fantastic staff!My dog Ashe had ripped her dewclaw partially off at the dog park, I went into panic mode and called to see if there was any chance of being … More seen and they told me to come in straight away. I arrived, was greeted by the very friendly Shonagh and was in with the vet within 15 minutes of arriving.The vet Courtney was extremely thorough in her check over and did a full examination of Ashe before even looking at her claw. She explained what had happened and recommended she be sedated to remove the broken claw as Ashe is extremely hyper and wouldn’t sit still. She went over the procedure, explained everything including the risks involved. I agreed that sedation for Ashe was the best option and the procedure was booked in for 40 minutes later.I stayed while the procedure was being done and the whole time (2hrs because Ashe was stubborn and took a while to be sedated). The staff kept me updated so I knew what was happening and didn’t panic, they asked if there was anything I needed and also answered any questions I had (I had a few).Afterwards the Vet Courtney explained everything to me, from the sedation to how Ashe did during the procedure and the follow up treatment. She also walked me through the payment and how much it would be multiple times (before & after the procedure which I appreciate).Once home 30 minutes after they closed, I received a very unexpected but much appreciated follow up email about the visit with an overview of what we spoke about, Ashes exam, procedure and follow up instructions.The following morning I received a phone call from the clinic checking in to see how Ashe went overnight and to make sure that she didn’t have any adverse reaction to the medication she was sent home with. They went over the follow up care for her bandaging and medication, made sure I knew that I was welcome to contact them or go in if I had any worries or questions and were extremely helpful and caring.This was my first time at this clinic and I would 100% recommend them from my experience. Kind, caring, professional and very helpful. I’ll be heading back this week for Ashe’s follow up, she’ll be glad to get all the pats from her new friends.

  Absolutely love the service provided by the Berwick Clyde Vet. The 5 star rating is not only for how you feel on the phone talking to them but also the service you get at the centre. The centre is extremely well set-up and so clean as well.. … More when compared to another vet[don't want to name and shame here] closely this place is so far above standards.. Our Snowy had the best treatment for his desexing surgery with such lovely updates with pictures through the process..the subsequent visits were also amazing and I must say they have the best trained staff too.. definitely highly recommend this place and I'd definitely keep them as my go to for any issues for our fur baby. Updating review on 23rd July 2026, Dr Kelley was excellent in reviewing Snowy with his full health check up. Extremely approachable and caring.
