As general practitioners we acknowledge that at times we may not have all the answers or the equipment to arrive at a diagnosis.
The welfare and wellbeing of our patients is our top priority. If we feel that a patient can benefit from a second opinion from a registered veterinary specialist, we will find a suitable option.
We are fortunate to work with a number of specialist who come and work within our practice as well as online, so often we are able to seek the answers we need through these options.
In the case where we need outside help, we organise the best specialist for your pet’s condition and prompt referral of the case where we can continue to work in collaboration with a specialist.
Our veterinarians will discuss this during the management of your pet’s condition and referrals can be requested at any time.
